A Tribute
In late 2021, Jeff Burt; Business Partner, Mentor, & Father of our CEO/President, Tyler Burt, passed away unexpectedly.
Jeff was the main driving force behind Tyler’s enthusiastic passion for the landscape industry and a desire to be a resource to all our clients. Jeff loved helping properties better manage irrigation to help save water. He was a firm believer in the benefits Smart Irrigation could do for any property, big or small.
We curated our logo to incorporate a water drop in tribute to the impact Jeff had on Tyler. It was always Jeff’s favorite thing to see in his own logo as it is the driving force of all plant life.

Tyler Burt
CEO / PRESIDENTTyler brings 10+ years of experience and a multitude of qualifications. He is an Arizona native, born and raised. He began working in the landscape industry with his late father, Jeff Burt, shortly after graduating from Higley High in Gilbert, AZ. Tyler garnered a strong passion for all things landscape, became highly proficient in irrigation, and has been sculpting his love of horticulture and arboriculture ever since!

CHEIF FINANCIAL OFFICERAshley brings experience in property management accounting. She is an Arizona native, born and raised. She graduated from ASU in December of 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship & Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Ashley & Tyler married in 2018 and she has endured countless hours of listening to Tyler's passion for landscape. Ashley trusts in Tyler's leadership and is excited for where he will take ELM!
